QUILTING ENDEAVORS

I have sewn for many years - Mom taught us to sew when we were in Clear Creek Cuties 4H Club.  I made a little apron, and a gathered skirt and I am sure I won ribbons!  I can dream about it anyway.  I have had a sewing machine in my house all of my married years and have enjoyed creating with fabric.  For a few years now, I have been learning the art of quilting.  I have made a few wall hangings, earning ribbons at the fair, and completed a couple of quilts.  I am now working on a quilt made of squares that my Mother stitched by her own hand.  I hope she would be proud of what I am doing with her squares.  The quilt will always be a combination of efforts:  her's of so many years ago, and now my putting it together for the future.
